I am a picture taker, back road traveler, art lover, chocolate addict, beachcomber, bubble blower, frequent hugger, nature lover, storyteller, intuitive extravert, weather watcher…, and this is my blog.
I have lived in many places, I love to read historical markers, and I like iced tea.
If you are wondering about the name of my website… Long ago and far away I had a home in the country where jelly jars were used for many wonderful things; in the kitchen for cooking, a vase for flowers from the garden, as a homespun pencil holder, tipped on the side for a backyard bird feeder, a button jar in the sewing room, to catch coins from the laundry, and on hot summer days as a glass for strawberry lemonade.
Time moves on and I am now transitioning to a new life on the road and RV living. I will be sure to bring along at least one jelley jar in the RV for bunches of wildflowers found along the highway!
Just like the bear that went over the mountain, I enjoy going for a drive just to see what I can see… and to take some photos along the way. I hope you enjoy my “new” site and the journey 🙂
I’m going out to clean the pasture spring;
I’ll only stop to rake the leaves away
(And wait to watch the water clear, I may)
I shan’t be gone long.
You come too!
